Asset Fields
The Asset Fields dashboard is used to manage important asset lookup fields. Fields can be designated as keys or tags and can be multi-value or single-value. Key fields are used for grouping and merging assets while tag fields are used for generating the asset_tag field in the primary asset collection, asset_lookup_by_str.
To add a new, custom asset field, click the New Asset Field button. In the New Asset Field modal, enter the field name, select the required settings for the field, and enter the multi-value limit if applicable. Once complete, click the Save button to save the new field and the configuration.
The new asset field will now be shown on the table, along with the selected configuration. To edit any field’s configuration, click the Edit button in the Actions column. The name of the field cannot be changed, but all configurations can be edited. When satisfied with the field’s configuration, click the Save button to apply the changes. To delete any field, click the Delete button in the Actions column and confirm the deletion. The field will be removed.
