ODP Management

The ODP Management page allows you to configure and manage Organization-defined Parameters (ODPs), which are customizable variables in security controls. These parameters help tailor your security policies to your organization's specific needs.

There are two types of ODPs available:

  1. Numeric ODPs: These ODPs require you to enter a numeric value that aligns with your organization's security policy.
  2. Lookup ODPs: These ODPs require you to specify content based on your organization's defined lookup data.

Workflow for Managing ODPs​

Before enabling ASCERA automations that use these ODPs, it's essential to update them in accordance with your organization's policy documents.

Steps:

  1. Acknowledge the ODP:

    • For numeric ODPs, acknowledge the value by confirming the entered numeric value.
    • For lookup ODPs, acknowledge the content by confirming the associated lookup data.

  2. Edit Policy Information:

    • Modify the policy details as needed to align with your organization's requirements. This ensures that the correct parameters are being used in the ASCERA automations.
