The Health page in ASCERA provides a high-level overview of the health status of the data models used within the system. Data models are essential for ensuring a fast and efficient search experience in Splunk, and this page monitors their performance and integrity.

Key Features:

  • Data Model and Sub-Node Counts The panels on this page count each data model and its sub-nodes separately. This allows for a more granular view of the data model health.
  • Event Counts Monitoring The event counts for each data model are periodically checked by the scheduled search, ASCERA Health - Data Model Event Counts. These checks ensure that the data models are functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Manual Event Count Refresh If you want to refresh the event counts manually, you can do so by running the ASCERA Health - Data Model Event Counts search. This will update the event counts displayed on the Health page.

By using the Health page, you can effectively monitor the health of ASCERA’s data models, ensuring that your system remains performant and responsive.
